Tokyo : Day 3 : Harajuku

Harajuku is one of my favourite places in Japan. It is also home to one of the most important shrine, the Meiji Shrine, built in loving memory of the Emperor and Empress Meiji. Takeshita Dori and Omotessandori are two popular spots in Harajuku. While Takeshita Dori is for youngsters looking for good bargains such as bags and accessories, Omotessandori caters to a more sophisticated young crowd, the yuppies.

we went on a little adventure while we were at harajuku...

we were searching high and low for this 'insider only' gyoza place and when we finally did, it was worth every sweat! it is located behind the popular omotessan dori street.

just beside the gyoza shop was this popular asian cuisine restaurant serving asian food from almost all over the world except malaysia.
